We have now stayed here around 10 times and just love it, both house keeping and reception staff are lovely and will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Food in the restaurant is beautiful! Glad we found this place.
I am not a frequent hotel user but needed to overnight on business. Nice under cover brightly lit car parking right in front of hotel was partly why I chose this one over the others. I had a good night with no noise. The free breakfast was very good - and promptly served, which meant I could get away by 7.30am.
Room was exceptionally clean. Nicely decorated with friendly staff. My only niggle is the bed was a tad firm for my liking. Out of the two nights I stayed, house keeping knocked to ask if they could do my room 1st morning just after 8am, which stopped my much needed lie in from travelling hundreds of miles. I get most people would be at breakfast and I don't mind it 9am or later, but check out is 11am. They were polite though. Shower went cold a couple of times when in it. However, plenty of parking, central location, breakfast, WiFi and smart tv all included. I would stay again as value for money!
Lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is doing an upgrade of the rooms. I have stayed in the older rooms, which were great and the new ones are really well finished. Restaurant attached does great food. Recommend for anyone staying in the local area.
Arrived at the hotel quite late. I walked past the underground entrance first (probably a me problem rather than a hotel problem). The lady at reception was very friendly and the check-in experience was smooth and quick. The corridors in the hotel were quite dated, but the room was spot on. Very comfy bed, nice bathroom plenty of storage. Tunnocks waiting for me on arrival was nice and to have em topped up for the second night put a smile on. Decent WiFi in the room and nice lighting. The location is unusual, very convenient for where I was going but unusual. I'd happily stay here again.
Stayed over for 2 nights weekend of 9th May. Wonderful polite caring and friendly service from all staff we encountered. Fabulous rooms with great showers, comfortable beds. Breakfast was very nice to, booked again for another stay
